Purchase Paramount Leader Tenor Banjo

Paramount Leader tenor banjo circa 1927 in excellent condition.  The serial number is 6622. The back is rosewood with maple accent strips.  The original calf skin head has been replace by a new Remo Weatherking head. The original Page tuning pegs have been replaced by planetary style tuners. The original "hot dog" armrest is still in place.  This is a local, one owner banjo that was past down through the generations.  The neck is straight and  the fretboard is in excellent condition. The sound is crystal clear and bright due to the large, round holes in the resonator flange which make these banjos legendary for their tonal qualities.  A beautiful, collectible piece and a phenomenal player as well. Comes with the original HSC also in excellent condition.
